Information we collect

Snowyme does not ask visitors to create accounts or submit personal information through forms. Product pages and guides are delivered as static content. Our hosting or CDN providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, and requested pages to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability. Snowyme does not use this information to create a visitor profile.

Cookies and analytics

Snowyme uses Baidu Analytics and may enable Google Analytics 4 to understand site traffic, search and AI referrals, and content performance. Analytics scripts only activate on the production domain (snowyme.com and www.snowyme.com); they do not load on local development, staging, or preview environments. These providers may set cookies or process device, page, and referral information for measurement under their own privacy terms.

External websites reached through product links may set their own cookies or use analytics. Their collection and choices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Snowyme records coarse interaction events such as starting or completing a comparison, changing the differences filter, using site search, opening a retailer link, or opening the correction tracker. Search events include only query length, result count, result type, result source, and clicked position; Snowyme does not send the words or phrases entered into search. Other events use limited page context such as category and comparison type. These events do not include order information or form contents.

When a visit arrives from another website, Snowyme may classify the referring domain—for example, a search engine or an AI assistant—so aggregate referral performance can be measured. It records the provider or domain, not the referring page's query text or conversation content.

Snowyme also measures Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), and Interaction to Next Paint (INP) to identify slow or unstable pages. These performance events contain the metric name, numeric value, and a broad performance rating; they do not contain page content or search text.

Future features

Before adding advertising, comments, accounts, user-submitted content, or a new category of analytics data, Snowyme will publish the purpose, available controls, and any required consent flow on this page. We do not sell personal information. Manufacturer and retailer links on product pages are outbound references, not checkout.

External links

Product pages may link to manufacturer pages or retailers. Those external websites have their own privacy policies, cookies, analytics, and purchase flows. Snowyme is not responsible for third-party site practices.

Contact and updates

Snowyme links to its public Gitee issue tracker for product-data corrections. Information is sent to Gitee only if you follow that link and submit an issue, and Gitee's own account and privacy terms apply. Do not include personal, payment, or order information in a report. Material changes to data collection will be reflected on this page.
