How to play Word Relay

Tap the letter you want to replace, then tap a letter from the rack. Every accepted swap makes a word.

  1. Turn the starting word into the target word in six swaps or fewer.
  2. Replace only one letter per step, using a letter on your rack. The old letter comes back to the rack.
  3. Every intermediate word must be in the included word list. Invalid attempts do not use a swap.
  4. Some puzzles ask you to visit a clue word on the way. All valid paths are accepted.
  5. Undo and hints are available. Explore continues beyond six swaps without earning a standard record.

Think one word ahead. GRAY/GREY and other included regional forms appear in the searchable word list.
