How to play Merge 2048

Swipe across the board, or tap an on-screen arrow.

  1. Slide all tiles in one direction.
  2. Two equal tiles merge once per move. Their combined value is added to your score.
  3. A new tile appears after every successful move.
  4. Undo your last move to try another direction, including after the board fills up.
  5. Reach 2048 to win, or keep going. The run ends when no moves remain.

Try keeping your largest tile in one corner and build toward it.
